Please join us for NIEAPA's April 2023 Chapter Meeting; our April meeting each year is FREE FOR ALL TO ATTEND!

From the Thundering Hundred to 2023, the World of EAP has progressively learned, grown and expanded around the world. Challenges have been overcome, Research has been done, Skills and Knowledge have grown and our Clients Needs consistently met. Technology is our newest challenge and we need to talk. Is there a basis for EAPs and TeleBehavioral Health Organizations to work together? Bring your Knowledge, Skills and Opinions and help move NIEAPA further into the New Technological EAP World.

PRESENTATION OBJECTIVES:

  • Identify and briefly discuss the historical development process of EAPs from Occupational Alcohol Programs to Full Service EAPs, from 3 Session A&R to Multi-session models and from Professionals knowledgeable about Addictions to Licensed Clinical Professionals knowledgeable about a wide range of Behavioral issues including Addictions.
  • Assess and discuss the progressively growing need for Referral Resource Networks that incorporate growing technology but not always accessible to EAP Providers.
  • Identify and discuss the possibility of and basis for the integration of Behavioral TeleHealth Providers into the EAP Referral Resource Chain of Options.
  • Open a discussion of possible next step plans of development that could be undertaken by NIEAPA and NIEAPA Members willing to be involved.
