This session will begin with a keynote presentation giving an overview of Fitness for Duty, defining nuances and evaluation considerations. Following that, shorter presentations will cover specialized needs when referring for Fitness for Duty evaluations for Airline, Healthcare and Law enforcement employees. To cap off the session, all presenters will participate in a panel discussion and Q&A.

PRESENTATION OBJECTIVES:

• Identifying impairment in the workplace and when a FFD referral is indicated
• Identify the essential elements for a fitness-for-duty evaluation
• Understanding how a fitness-for-duty evaluation is protective for the individual and the employer
• Understand evaluation recommendations as a road map to employee wellbeing across professions
• Learn how FFD evaluations are implemented across various professions such as Healthcare, Airlines, and Law Enforcement
